The feedback from the participants in all sessions to date has been very positive:

Events like this are what most, if not all, veterans should take part in; regardless of service, experiences or current position in life. Those who have struggled since getting out can gain so much from this. No matter where you are in life, it’s possible to have continuous improvement for better quality of life.

“Coming up here for this week has been one of the best choices I’ve made in a long time. I haven’t had this much fun, or felt this relaxed in years.”

“Since leaving the military, I’ve felt like no matter the situation, I’m stuck in a rut. I plan to take what I’ve learned here and work on education and career advancement, so I can be where I had hoped to be when I graduated high school.”

“This was an amazing opportunity for the veterans. A great mix of workshops and recreational activities.”

“The educational segments refocused my attention on techniques that will help me work towards future goals.”

“All physical activities were well conducted and a great experience. I felt motivated, HAPPY, and relaxed now! I haven’t felt like this in a very long time.”

We have also received excellent feedback from the VA and other veterans organizations that have referred veterans to us:

“WOW!!!! What a great time my group had at your camp. I truly appreciate all your volunteers did for the Veterans of Burlington Clinic. I wish you guys could have been a fly on the wall on the 3+ hour ride home … My group was giddy about the experience”

“I shared some of the stories/ photo from the weekend and shared your private Facebook group to the social workers and doctors. The positive feedback that I received was overwhelming with positive support. Some comments from the providers were “Oh my, I haven’t seen them smile in years” or “everyone is smiling in every picture” or “This is exactly what these young vets need”.

“The effects of Camp Resilience seem to be life changing”.
